I just love the month of May. I always get inspired to start a few new pieces, whether they be short stories, e-books, picture books, or nonfiction articles. This is because as things are all burgeoning and opening up in nature, I love to mimic that in my creative endeavours.
During the month of May, I always start a health challenge as well. This year, I decided to ensure that I walk a mile a day, six days out of the week. This will help me feel more fit and healthy. I will also shed a few pounds before short season starts.
In my writing life, I always take stock of how far I have come with my writing this year, since the mid-point of the year is coming quite fast.
I have been doing quite well this year. We are still very much in the throws of lockdown here in Ontario. So, I will have even more of a chance to write and create. I have already published ten e-books and wrote four picture books. I will keep this up this month, and plan how I will keep proceeding for the rest of the year.
So, how about you? How can you make May the most creative month so far?
Perhaps you could sit down and take stock how you can do so. Despite the fact that we are ten days into May, it doesn’t mean that we can’t still take steps to make May the best that we ever had.
To your success!
