How to End Your First Quarter Strong

It’s hard to believe, but we’re approaching the end of the first quarter. Did you get everything done that you promised yourself in the first quarter?

If you haven’t, perhaps it’s time to become razor focused on completing your one or two main goals for the first quarter. You wouldn’t want to start your next quarter feeling less than happy with your output as a writer, would you?

So, today, take some time to assess how you are doing by answering these questions:

  1. How did I do in this quarter?
  2. What do I need to do to complete my one goal or a part of the goal?
  3. How can I ensure I will end the first quarter strong?
  4. What’s next? How can I ensure I stay committed to completing my goals? You may have to schedule more time to write by decluttering your schedule. Or clear your desk and office from extraneous books and papers so that you can write more efficiently. Be sure to write your next steps towards success in your writer’s journal.

By taking these steps, you will ensure you’re successful. Also, how good would you feel if you crossed off one main goal from your list of goals for the year at the end of March?

Take the time to ask yourself the above questions today, before the week starts. This assessment will help you have a strong month and end of the first quarter.

Try it!
