Spring Into the Second Quarter of the Year

When May arrives, it’s tie for us to finish up the projects we’ve been working on since the beginning of the year and set new goals for the summer. This can be a way for us to complete our goals, publish our books or send out queries and take stock of how we did so far.

I love this time of year. It’s so hopeful. I can take stock and just reward myself for all I have completed to date. This can be a deeply fruitful time for all writers. As the flowering shrubs start to blood, we can also grow and change. We can shed some of the bad habits we may have developed over the past few months and instill new habits.

So, are there habits that you would like to shed? Are there new ones you’d like to set? Whatever it is, find ways to set new habits and start new routines and traditions. This is the time to do so. Then once June rolls around, you’ll be in the full swing of things.

Try it!
