There is nothing worse than sitting down and not knowing what you will work on. Here are a few questions to make sure that you don’t waste any more time fumbling around when you sit down to write. 1. Have you determined your three main writing goals for the next few months–I usually decide on my writing goals three times a year. 2. Did you write down these goals on a piece of paper or in your planner? 3. Did you create monthly goals to complete each of your writing goals? 4. Did you create a weekly sheet for each of your writing goals? 5. Did you create a daily sheet for each of your writing goals? Take the time to answer these questions in your journal. By doing so, you will become aware of what you want to work on before you sit down to write. Just look at your goal sheet and get started. And decideaphobia will no longer plague you! Try it!
